Maryellen has deep roots in this area and in the real estate industry – attributing her knowledge to her mother who was an award winning listing and selling agent from 1968 through 1998. At her mother’s urging, Maryellen became licensed as a young adult and sold real estate from 1983 through 1995 where she witnessed mortgage interest rates ranging from 8% – 15% and worked in both buyer and seller markets, short sales, the multiple bidding process and was also able to navigate buyers and sellers through numerous environmental conditions and mandates which may have affected their transactions.
During her 20 year hiatus from real estate, Maryellen assisted commercial photographers (specifically in lighting and styling) for architectural and home furnishing publications. This experience alone is invaluable today as it relates to preparing a listing for the marketplace.
Last but not least, Maryellen has the life experience to help people purchase and sell homes through all personal transitions; job change, coupling, uncoupling, growing families and retirement. Putting her skillset aside her motto still is, “It’s all about you” Happy sellers and buyers are what she takes pride in most.
